✧ From the hadith of Salim from b. Umar

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، نَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ بِالْحِجْرِ فَقَالَ: لَا تَدْخُلُوا مَسَاكِنَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونُوا بَاكِينَ أَنْ يُصِيبَهُمْ مِثْلَمَا أَصَابَهُمْ. فَأَسْرَعَ السَّيْرَ حَتَّى جَازَ الْوَادِيَ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by al-Hijr and said: Do not enter the dwellings of those who wronged themselves unless you are weeping, lest what befell them befall you. Then he quickened his pace until he passed through the valley.
