وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُحَدِّثُ، قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُنِي اللَّيْلَةَ أُتِيتُ بِقَدَحٍ، فَشَرِبْتُ مِنْهُ حَتَّى أَنِّي لَأَرَى الرِّيَّ يَجْرِي، فَنَاوَلْتُ فَضْلِي عُمَرَ. قَالُوا: مَا أَوَّلْتَ ذَلِكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: الْعِلْمُ
Translation

✧ I saw myself tonight being brought a cup, and I drank from it until I could see the quench flowing, then I handed my leftover to Umar. They said: What did you interpret that as, O Messenger of God? He said: Knowledge.
