✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us holding something in his hand. He opened his right hand and said: 'In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, a book from the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. In it are the people of Paradise with their numbers, names, and lineages, summed up for them until the Day of Resurrection. None of them will be decreased, and none will be added to them. A blessed person may be made to follow the path of wretchedness until it is said: He is one of them and how closely he resembles them. Then he is moved to his blessedness before his death, even if by the interval between two milkings of a she-camel.' Then he opened his left hand and said: 'In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, a book from the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. In it are the people of the Fire with their numbers, names, and lineages, summed up for them until the Day of Resurrection. None of them will be decreased, and none will be added to them. The wretched may be made to follow the path of the people of blessedness until it is said: He is one of them and how closely he resembles them. Then one of them is overtaken by his wretchedness before his death, even if by the interval between two milkings of a she-camel.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Actions are judged by their endings; actions are judged by their endings,' three times.
