حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: نَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ رَفَعَهُ

فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ مَرْضَى أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ، قَالَ: إِذَا كَانَ بِالرَّجُلِ الْجِرَاحَةُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، أَوِ الْقُرُوحُ، أَوِ الْجُدَرِيُّ فَخَافَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ إِنِ اغْتَسَلَ يَتَيَمَّمُ

Translation

✧ Regarding His saying: 'And if you are ill or on a journey,' he said: When a man has a wound in the path of Allah, or sores, or smallpox, and he fears that he will die if he bathes, he performs tayammum.
