حَدَّثَنَا أُسَيْدُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ: نَا عَامِرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: نَا يَعْقُوبُ الْقُمِّيُّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ:
خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، وَقَدْ أَظَلَّتْنَا سَحَابَةٌ وَنَحْنُ نَطْمَعُ فِيهَا فَقَالَ: إِنَّ الْمَلَكَ الَّذِي يَسُوقُهَا دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيَّ وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ يَسُوقُهَا إِلَى وَادِي كَذَا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us while a cloud had overshadowed us and we were hopeful of [rain from] it. He said: “The angel who drives it came to me, greeted me, and informed me that he was driving it to such-and-such a valley.”
