✧ The Meccans, from b. 'Abbas

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ كَرَامَةَ، قَالَ: نَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: نَا عُمَرُ بْنُ صُهْبَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ:

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ يُؤَخِّرُ الظُّهْرَ حَتَّى يُبْرِدَ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي الظُّهْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ ثُمَّ لَا يَنْزِلُ حَتَّى يَغِيبَ الشَّفَقُ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ

✧ During the campaign of Tabūk, the Prophet ﷺ would delay Ẓuhr until it cooled, then pray Ẓuhr and ʿAṣr together; then he would not dismount until the twilight disappeared, and then pray Maghrib and ʿIshāʾ together.
