حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ قَالَ: أَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ:
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا نَزَلَ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ يَقْرَؤُهُ لِيَحْفَظَهُ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى: لا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْآنَهُ
Translation

✧ When the Quran descended upon the Prophet ﷺ, he would recite it to memorize it. Then Allah, Blessed and Exalted, sent down: 'Do not move your tongue with it to hasten it. Indeed, upon Us is its collection and its recitation.'
