حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الصَّائِغُ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ - ؓ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ وَفِي يَدِهِ قِطْعَةٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَقِطْعَةٌ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ فَقَالَ: أَلَا إِنَّ هَذَيْنِ حَرَامٌ عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي حِلٌّ لِإِنَاثِهِمْ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ came out with a piece of gold and a piece of silk in his hand and said: 'Verily, these two are forbidden for the males of my community, and lawful for its females.'
