✧ Tawus, from b. 'Abbas

وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا صَفَرَ وَلَا طِيَرَةَ وَلَا هَامَةَ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَأْخُذُ الشَّاةَ الْجَرْبَاءَ فَيَطْرَحُهَا فِي مِائَةِ شَاةٍ فَتُجْرِبُهَا قَالَ: فَمَا أَجْرَبَ الْأُولَى

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ There is no contagion, no ṣafar, no evil omen, no hāmah. A man said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, a man takes a mangy sheep and throws it among a hundred sheep, and they become mangy.’ He said: ‘Then who made the first one mangy?’
