حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ: نَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: نَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ؓ قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْأَبْطَحِ فَجَاءَهُ بِلَالٌ فَآذَنَهُ بِالصَّلَاةِ، فَدَعَا بِوَضُوءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ، فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَأْتُونَ فَيَأْخُذُونَ وَضُوءَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَيَمْسَحُونَ بِهِ وُجُوهَهُمْ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was at al-Abtah when Bilal came to him and informed him of the prayer. He called for ablution water and performed ablution. The people began coming and taking the ablution water of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and wiping their faces with it.
