✧ What Fadalah b. 'Ubayd narrated from Abu al-Darda

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، قَالَ: نَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، قَالَ: نَا الْعَوَّامُ بْنُ صُبَيْحٍ، قَالَ: نَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ؓ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأْنٍ، قَالَ: مِنْ شَأْنِهِ أَنْ يَغْفِرَ ذَنْبًا أَوْ يَكْشِفَ كَرْبًا أَوْ يُجِيبَ دَاعِيًا، وَيَرْفَعَ قَوْمًا وَيَضَعَ آخَرِينَ " وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " فَرَغَ اللهُ إِلَى كُلِّ عَبْدٍ مِنْ أَجَلِهِ، وَرِزْقِهِ، وَمَضْجَعِهِ، وَأَثَرِهِ

✧ Every day He is in a matter. He said: Among His matters is that He forgives a sin, or relieves a distress, or answers a supplicant, and raises a people and lowers others." And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Allah has finished with every servant regarding his lifespan, provision, resting place, and his traces."
