✧ What Fadalah b. 'Ubayd narrated from Abu al-Darda

وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، قَالَ:

قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ: أَرَأَيْتَ مَا نَعْمَلُ أَشَيْءٌ قَدْ فُرِغَ مِنْهُ، أَمْ أَشَيْءٌ نَسْتَأْنِفُهُ ؟ فَقَالَ: كُلُّ امْرِئٍ مُهَيَّأٌ لِمَا خُلِقَ لَهُ

Translation

✧ It was said, "O Messenger of Allah, do you think that what we do is something already decreed, or something we initiate?" He said, "Every person is facilitated for what he was created for."
