✧ What Fadalah b. 'Ubayd narrated from Abu al-Darda

وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

" لَا يَبْلُغُ عَبْدٌ حَقِيقَةَ الْإِيمَانِ حَتَّى يَعْلَمَ أَنَّ مَا أَصَابَهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ لِيُخْطِئَهُ، وَمَا أَخْطَأَهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ لِيُصِيبَهُ

Translation

✧ "A servant will not attain the reality of faith until he knows that what has befallen him was not going to miss him, and what has missed him was not going to befall him."
