✧ He entered upon Abu Dharr among men from Aslam, among whom was a man from Juhaynah. Abu Dharr asked them, 'What has brought you?' They said, 'We have come to you to greet you and to hear from you.' He said, 'Shall I not give you glad tidings?' They said, 'Yes.' He said, 'Whoever meets God without associating anything with Him will be forgiven, even if he has sins as much as the fill of the earth.' The Juhanī man said, 'Did you hear this from the Messenger of God ﷺ?' Abu Dharr glorified God and then said, 'Is it proper for a Muslim man to say about the Messenger of God ﷺ what he did not say?' Then he said, 'Peace be upon you,' and rose.
