✧ Abū Dharr said to me: "O son of my brother, I was with the Messenger of God ﷺ holding his hand, and he said: 'O Abā Dharr, I would not love to have a mountain of gold and silver that I spend in the path of God, and then die on the day I die leaving behind a qīrāṭ of it.' I said: 'O Messenger of God, a qinṭār?' He said: 'O Abā Dharr, you go to the lesser and I go to the greater; I desire the Hereafter and you desire this world: a qīrāṭ.'" He repeated it to me three times.
