حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْعَرْزَمِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِعَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ: أَنْتَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ آمَنَ بِي، وَأَنْتَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ يُصَافِحُنِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَأَنْتَ الصِّدِّيقُ الْأَكْبَرُ، وَأَنْتَ الْفَارُوقُ تَفْرُقُ بَيْنَ الْحَقِّ وَالْبَاطِلِ، وَأَنْتَ يَعْسُوبُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، وَالْمَالُ يَعْسُوبُ الْكُفَّارِ

✧ He said to ʿAlī b. Abī Ṭālib: "You are the first to believe in me, and you are the first to shake my hand on the Day of Resurrection, and you are the greatest verifier (al-Ṣiddīq al-Akbar), and you are the distinguisher (al-Fārūq) who distinguishes between truth and falsehood, and you are the leader of the believers, while wealth is the leader of the disbelievers."
