✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ met the enemy and Allah granted him victory. He said: 'Do you miss anyone?' They said: 'Yes, so-and-so and so-and-so.' Then he said: 'Do you miss anyone?' a second and third time. They said: 'No.' He said: 'But I miss Julaybib. Go and search for him among the slain.' They searched for him and found him beside seven whom he had killed, and then they killed him. The Prophet ﷺ was informed and came to him until he stood over him. He said: 'This one is from me and I am from him. He killed seven. This one is from me and I am from him' – saying it twice. Then he carried him on his forearms, for he had no bier other than the forearms of the Prophet ﷺ, until a grave was dug for him and he was buried, without mentioning any washing.
