✧ A man died among those who had come to the Prophet ﷺ and embraced Islam as a stranger. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said while he was at the grave: 'What is your name?' I said, 'Al-Asi (the disobedient).' He said to Ibn Umar: 'What is your name?' He replied, 'Al-Asi.' And he said to al-Asi: 'What is your name?' He said, 'Al-Asi.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'You are the servants of Allah, descend.' He said: So we buried our companion, then we came out of the grave and our names had been changed.
