✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ entered upon Abu Salamah while he was dying. When his gaze became fixed, the Messenger of God ﷺ stretched out his hand to him and closed his eyes. When he closed his eyes, the family cried out, and the Messenger of God ﷺ silenced them. Then he said: "When the soul departs, the sight follows it, and the angels attend the deceased and say 'Amen' to what the family says." Then he ﷺ said: "O God, raise the degree of Abu Salamah among the rightly guided, and be his successor among those who remain, and forgive us and him on the Day of Judgment."
