حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، نَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ: نَا أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ؓ

" أَنَّ غُلَامًا، لِأُنَاسٍ فُقَرَاءَ قَطَعَ أُذُنَ غُلَامٍ لِأُنَاسٍ أَغْنِيَاءَ فَأَتَى أَهْلُهُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالُوا: إِنَّا أُنَاسٌ فُقَرَاءُ فَخَلَّى سَبِيلَهُ

Translation

✧ A boy belonging to poor people cut off the ear of a boy belonging to rich people, so his family came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "We are poor people," so he let him go.
