حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ وَاللَّفْظُ، لِأَحْمَدَ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، قَالَ: نَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ ؓ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:

" سَيِّدُ الِاسْتِغْفَارِ إِذَا انْصَرَفَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ أَنْ يَقُولَ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ أَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي إِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

✧ The master of seeking forgiveness, when one of you finishes his prayer, is to say: O Allah, You created me and I am Your servant; I am upon Your covenant and Your promise as much as I am able. I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favor upon me, and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.
