✧ We gave allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: "Among you there is a stranger"—meaning one of the People of the Book—so we said: "No, O Messenger of Allah." Then he ordered the door to be closed and said: "Raise your hands and say: La ilaha illa Allah." So we raised our hands for a while. Then he said: "O Allah, You sent me with this word, commanded me with it, and promised me Paradise for it, and You do not break Your promise." Then he said: "Rejoice, for Allah has forgiven you."
