✧ 'Umar used to come to the mosque of Quba on Mondays and Thursdays. One day he came and found no one in it from the people, so he said: "Why do I not see anyone from the people in this mosque?" He said: "By the One in Whose hand is my soul, I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr, and some of his companions while we were carrying its stones on our bellies. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ laid its foundation with his own hand, and Jibril ﷺ was directing him toward the Ka'bah."
