وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الْعَطَّارُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَرِيزٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ؓ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:

" الْخَمْرُ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ وَقَالَ سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ " الْأَشْرِبَةُ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ مِنَ الْحِنْطَةِ وَالشَّعِيرِ وَالتَّمْرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ وَالْعَسَلِ، فَمَا خَمَّرْتَهُ فَهُوَ خَمْرٌ

✧ "Wine is from five things," and Salama b. Kuhayl said in his hadith, "Drinks are from five things: from wheat, barley, dates, raisins, and honey. Whatever you ferment is wine."
