Musnad al-Bazzar 3198

✧ The first hadith of Abu Musa

أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، أَوْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى - ؓ

أَنَّهُ أُغْمِيَ عَلَيْهِ فَبَكَتِ امْرَأَتُهُ، فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ قَالَ: أَمَا بَلَغَكِ مَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ قَالَ: فَسَأَلْتُهَا، فَقَالَ: لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ حَلَقَ وَسَلَقَ وَخَرَقَ

✧ He fainted, and his wife wept. When he regained consciousness, he said: 'Has not the saying of the Messenger of God ﷺ reached you?' He said: 'So I asked her, and she said: "He said: He is not of us who shaves [the head], rends [the garment], and wails."'
