Translation

✧ Ibrahim b. Sa'id al-Jawhari reported to us: Abu Usamah reported to us, from Burayd, from Abu Burdah, from Abu Musa, from the Prophet ﷺ with something similar. Abu Bakr said: This hadith is known only through Abu Mu'awiyah from Burayd, and we did not know anyone who reported it other than Abu Mu'awiyah until Ibrahim b. Sa'id al-Jawhari reported it to us from Abu Usamah. We have not seen it from anyone from Abu Usamah except from Ibrahim, and the hearing of Ibrahim b. Sa'id from Abu Usamah and the hearing of al-Mu'ayti were the same. I was told that he corroborated Ibrahim on this hadith.
