✧ "Gabriel ﷺ came to me with something like a mirror in his palm, in the middle of which was a black spot. I said, 'O Gabriel, what is this?' He said, 'This is the world, its clarity and beauty.' I said, 'What is this black spot?' He said, 'This is Friday.' I said, 'What is Friday?' He said, 'A great day among the days of your Lord.' Then he mentioned its honor, virtue, and its name in the Hereafter. When Allah admits the people of Paradise to Paradise and the people of the Fire to the Fire, there is neither night nor day. Allah, Mighty and Majestic, knows the duration of those hours. When it is Friday, at the time of Friday when the people of Friday go out to their Friday prayer, a caller will call out, 'O people of Paradise, come out to the Abode of Increase.' Then they will come out onto dunes of musk." Hudhayfah said, "By Allah, it is whiter than your flour." When they sit down and the people take their places, Allah sends upon them a wind called al-Muthirah, which stirs up white musk over them so that it enters their garments and comes out of their collars. That wind knows more about that perfume than the wife of one of you would if the perfume of all the people of the world were given to her. Then Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says, "Where are My servants who obeyed Me without seeing Me, who believed My messengers and did not see Me? Ask of Me, for this is the Day of Increase." They will unite on a single statement: "We are pleased, so be pleased with us." He will return to them in His speech: "O people of Paradise, if I were not pleased with you, I would not have lodged you in My Paradise. This is the Day of Increase, so ask of Me." They will unite on a single statement: "Show us Your face that we may look upon it." Then Allah, Blessed and Exalted, will remove the veils and manifest Himself to them. His light will cover them, and had Allah not decreed that they not die, they would have been burned. Then it will be said to them, "Return to your dwellings." They will return, having become hidden from their spouses, and their spouses hidden from them, due to the light of His manifestation that enveloped them. The light will continue to settle until they return to their state, or to their dwellings, as they were before. Their spouses will say to them, "You left us with one appearance and returned to us with another." They will say, "Our Lord, Mighty and Majestic, manifested Himself to us, and we beheld what made us hidden from you." Thus they will luxuriate in the musk of Paradise and its bliss every seven days, and that is the Day of Increase."
