حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمَسْرُوقِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَجْلَحُ، عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، قَالَ:

جَلَسْتُ إِلَى حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ، وَأَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا: حَدِّثْ مَا سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، قَالَ: بَلْ حَدِّثْ أَنْتَ، فَحَدَّثَ أَحَدُهُمَا فَصَدَّقَهُ الْآخَرُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: يُؤْتَى بِرَجُلٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَدْ قَالَ لِأَهْلِهِ: إِذَا أَنَا مُتُّ فَاحْرِقُونِي، وَاسْحَقُونِي، ثُمَّ اسْتَقْبِلُوا رِيحًا عَاصِفًا فَذَرُّونِي، قَالَ: فَجَمَعَهُ اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، قَالَ: لِمَ فَعَلْتَ هَذَا ؟ قَالَ: مِنْ خَشْيَتِكَ، قَالَ: فَغَفَرَ لَهُ

Translation

✧ I sat with Hudhayfah b. al-Yaman and Abu Mas'ud, and one of them said: Narrate what you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: Rather you narrate. So one of them narrated, and the other confirmed him. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: A man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection who had said to his family: When I die, burn me, and crush me, then face a violent wind and scatter me. He said: Then Allah will gather him on the Day of Resurrection and say: Why did you do this? He said: From fear of You. He said: So He forgave him.
