278 243 - وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ بِشْرُ بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ: نَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ:

نَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِنَحْوِهِ. قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ فَاجْتَزَيْنَا بِمَنْ ذَكَرْنَا

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Bishr b. Ādam
  2. Zayd b. al-Ḥubāb

✧ Mu'awiya b. Salih narrated to us, from Rabi'a b. Yazid, from Abu Idris, from 'Uqba b. 'Amir, from 'Umar, from the Prophet ﷺ something similar. Abu Bakr said: This hadith has been narrated from 'Uqba through more than one route, so we sufficed with those we have mentioned.
