حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرِيبٍ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ؓ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَإِذَا أَقْنَاءٌ مُعَلَّقَةٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، وَفِيهَا قِنْوٌ حَشَفٍ فَجَعَلَ يَطْعَنُهُ بِقَضِيبٍ مَعَهُ، وَيَقُولُ: إِنَّ صَاحِبَ هَذَا يَأْكُلُ حَشَفًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered the mosque and there were clusters of dates hanging in the mosque, including a cluster of dry, inferior dates. He began poking it with a stick he had, saying: "The owner of this will eat inferior dates on the Day of Resurrection."
