حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ شَاهِينَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ؓ قَالَ:

أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ بِالْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ لِلْمُسَافِرِ، وَيَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ لِلْمُقِيمِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ commanded us during the Battle of Tabuk to wipe over the leather socks for three days and their nights for the traveler, and one day and night for the resident.
