حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ يَحْيَى ابْنِ أَخِي عُبَادَةَ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ؓ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:

" مَنْ صَلَّى الْمَكْتُوبَةَ فَأَدَّاهَا لِوَقْتِهَا لَقِيَ اللهَ وَلَهُ عِنْدَهُ عَهْدٌ لَا يُعَذِّبُهُ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ لِوَقْتِهَا لَقِيَ اللهَ وَلَا عَهْدَ لَهُ إِنْ شَاءَ عَذَّبَهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ رَحِمَهُ

Translation

✧ Whoever prays the prescribed prayer and performs it at its proper time will meet Allah and have a covenant with Him that He will not punish him. And whoever does not establish the prescribed prayer at its proper time will meet Allah with no covenant; if He wills, He will punish him, and if He wills, He will have mercy on him.
