حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَحْوَصُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ؓ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِذَا صَلَّى الرَّجُلُ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ، وَأَتَمَّ رُكُوعَهَا وَسُجُودَهَا أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: وَالْقِرَاءَةَ فِيهَا قَالَتْ: حَفِظَكَ اللهُ كَمَا حَفِظْتَنِي وَإِذَا أَسَاءَ رُكُوعَهَا وَلَمْ يُتِمَّ رُكُوعَهَا وَلَا سُجُودَهَا قَالَتْ: ضَيَّعَكَ اللهُ كَمَا ضَيَّعْتَنِي

✧ When a man prays, perfects his ablution, and completes its bowing and prostration—I think he said: and the recitation in it—it says: May Allah preserve you as you have preserved me. And when he performs its bowing poorly and does not complete its bowing or prostration, it says: May Allah waste you as you have wasted me.
