2565 2558 - وَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ، قَالَ:

حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي الْفُرَاتِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الصَّائِغِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ

✧ My father narrated to me, from Dawud b. Abi al-Furat, from Ibrahim al-Sa'igh, from 'Ata', from Ibn 'Abbas, from Usamah b. Zayd, from the Prophet ﷺ.

    a well-known Companiond. Ibn Ḥibbān said: he died after ʿUthmān b. ʿAffān was killed. In al-Samʿānī's Amālī: 40 AH. Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr deemed correct that he died in the year 54 AH. Muṣʿab al-Zubayrī said: 58 AH or 59 AH
