✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on an expedition, and we traveled at night. I said, 'Would that you alighted so we could rest.' He said, 'Who will guard us?' I said, 'I will guard you.' So they slept, and I slept as they slept until the sun rose. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ got up, performed ablution, and we performed ablution for the morning prayer; then we prayed the morning prayer in the forenoon.
