حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ:
انْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ: هَذَا سِحْرٌ وَلَكِنِ انْظُرُوا فَسَلُوهُمْ فَسَأَلُوا مُحَمَّدًا ﷺ

✧ The moon was split during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the polytheists said: 'This is magic, but look and ask them.' So they asked Muhammad ﷺ.
