1799 1786 - حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ:
نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِنَحْوِهِ، أَوْ قَرِيبًا مِنْهُ. وَلَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَى حَدِيثَ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، فَأَسْنَدَهُ إِلَّا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا أَسْنَدَ حَدِيثَ الثَّوْرِيِّ إِلَّا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ
Translation
Chain of narrators
- ʿAmr b. ʿAlī
✧ Muhammad b. Kathir narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from Haritha b. Mudarrib, from ‘Abdullah, from the Prophet ﷺ, with something similar or close to it. We do not know anyone who narrated the hadith of al-A‘mash from Abu Ishaq and attributed it as musnad except Abu Mu‘awiya, and we do not know anyone who attributed the hadith of al-Thawri as musnad except Muhammad b. Kathir.
