✧ A man went out intending to mount his horse, and he passed by the mosque of Banu Hanifa and entered to pray. Their imam was reciting the words of Musaylima the liar. He came to ‘Abdullah and informed him, so he sent for them and asked them to repent. They repented, except ‘Abdullah b. al-Nawwaha. He said to him: “O ‘Abdullah b. al-Nawwaha, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘Were it not that you are a messenger, I would strike your neck.’”
