حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ، قَالَ: نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ الْأَوْدِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

أَنَّهُ عَلَّمَهُمُ التَّشَهُّدَ: التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللهِ الصَّالِحِينَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، قَالَ: وَيُعَلِّمُنَا هَذَا الدُّعَاءَ كَمَا يُعَلِّمُنَا الْقُرْآنَ: اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ ذَاتَ بَيْنِنَا، وَأَلِّفْ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِنَا، وَاهْدِنَا لِسُبُلِ السَّلَامِ، وَجَنِّبْنَا الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي أَسْمَاعِنَا، وَأَبْصَارِنَا، وَأَزْوَاجِنَا، وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا، وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا شَاكِرِينَ لِنِعْمَتِكَ، مُثْنِينَ بِهَا قَابِلِيهَا، وَأَتْمِمْهَا عَلَيْنَا يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

✧ He taught them the tashahhud: 'All greetings, prayers, and pure words are due to Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.' He said: 'And he taught us this supplication just as he taught us the Quran: O Allah, reconcile our hearts, unite them, guide us to the paths of peace, and keep us away from indecencies, both apparent and hidden. O Allah, bless us in our hearing, our sight, our spouses, and our offspring, and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful. O Allah, make us grateful for Your blessings, praising You and accepting them, and complete them upon us, O Most Merciful of the merciful.'
