Musnad al-Bazzar 1664

✧ The first hadith of Alqamah, from Abdullah b. Mas'ud, from the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابِرِ بْنِ بُجَيْرٍ، قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ

أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مَعَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَرَدَّ عَلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِنَّ مِنَ اقْتِرَابِ السَّاعَةِ السَّلَامُ بِالْمَعْرِفَةِ

Translation

✧ They were with Abdullah when a man came and greeted him, so he responded to him, then said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Among the signs of the approach of the Hour is greeting only those one knows."'
