✧ The first hadith of Alqamah, from Abdullah b. Mas'ud, from the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: نَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ:

تَحَرَّوْا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ لِسَبْعٍ تَبْقَى، وَتَحَرَّوْهَا لِتِسْعٍ، وَتَحَرَّوْهَا لِإِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ تَبْقَى صَبِيحَةَ بَدْرٍ، فَإِنَّ الشَّمْسَ تَطْلُعُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيِ الشَّيْطَانِ، إِلَّا صَبِيحَةَ بَدْرٍ فَإِنَّهَا تَطْلُعُ بَيْضَاءَ لَيْسَ لَهَا شُعَاعٌ

✧ Seek Laylat al-Qadr among the seven that remain, and seek it among the nine, and seek it among the eleven that remain until the morning of Badr. For the sun rises every day between the two horns of Satan, except on the morning of Badr, for it rises white without rays.
