✧ Alqamah led us in the noon prayer, five rak'ahs. When he said the salam, the people said: "You prayed five, O Abu Shibl." He said: "No, I did not." They said: "Yes." I was on the side of the people, a young boy, and I said: "Yes, you prayed five." He said to me: "You too, O one-eyed, say that?" I said: "Yes." So he turned and prostrated twice, then said the salam, then said: "'Abdullah said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in five rak'ahs. When he turned, the people whispered among themselves. He asked: 'What is the matter with you?' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, has the prayer been increased?' He said: 'No.' They said: 'Then you prayed five.' So he turned, prostrated twice, then said the salam, then said: 'I am only human; I forget as you forget.'"
