Musnad al-Bazzar 1489

✧ The first hadith of Alqamah, from Abdullah b. Mas'ud, from the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بِسْطَامٍ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ السَّدُوسِيُّ قَالَا: نَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، وَالْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:

" يَا مَعْشَرَ الشَّبَابِ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ ذَا طَوْلٍ فَلْيَنْكِحْ، وَإِلَّا عَلَيْهِ الصَّوْمُ فَإِنَّهُ وِجَاءٌ

✧ O company of young men, whoever among you has the means, let him marry; otherwise, let him fast, for it is a means of curbing desire.
