حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ: نَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ قَالَ: نَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ قَالَ:

قُلْتُ لِلْحَسَنِ: هَلْ تَحْفَظُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ شَيْئًا ؟ قَالَ: أَدْخَلَنِي غُرْفَةً، فَأَخَذْتُ تَمْرَةً مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّهَا لَا تَحِلُّ لِمُحَمَّدٍ، وَلَا لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ

Translation

✧ I said to al-Hasan: Do you remember anything from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? He said: He brought me into a room, and I took a date from the dates of charity. He said, "Indeed, it is not lawful for Muhammad, nor for anyone of his family."
