✧ "I am the first Arab to shoot an arrow in the cause of Allah. We used to go on military expeditions with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and we had no food to eat except the leaves of the hublah and this samur tree, so that one of us would defecate as a sheep defecates, with no mixture. Then the Banu Asad came to instruct me in the religion. If so, I have failed and my deeds have gone astray."
