✧ Muhammad b. Sirin from Abu Hurayra

وَبِهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الطَّعَامِ حَتَّى يَجْرِيَ فِيهِ الصَّاعَانِ، فَيَكُونُ لِصَاحِبِهِ الزِّيَادَةُ وَعَلَيْهِ النُّقْصَانُ
Translation

✧ He prohibited selling food until the two measures (sa's) have been applied to it, so that the increase belongs to its owner and the decrease is upon him.
