وَبِهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
اخْتَصَمَ آدَمُ وَمُوسَى، فَقَالَ لَهُ مُوسَى: أَنْتَ آدَمُ الَّذِي أَشْقَيْتَ النَّاسَ وَأَخْرَجْتَهُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ ؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ آدَمُ: أَنْتَ مُوسَى الَّذِي اصْطَفَاكَ اللهُ بِرِسَالَاتِهِ وَبِكَلَامِهِ، وَأَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكَ التَّوْرَاةَ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ. فَوَجَدْتَهُ قَضَى ذَلِكَ عَلَيَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَنِي ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ. فَحَجَّ آدَمُ مُوسَى عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَامُ
Translation

✧ Adam and Musa disputed. Musa said to him, “Are you Adam, who made people miserable and expelled them from Paradise?” Adam said to him, “Are you Musa, whom Allah chose with His messages and His speech, and upon whom He sent down the Torah?” He said, “Yes.” He said, “Did you find that Allah decreed that upon me before He created me?” He said, “Yes.” So Adam argued against Musa, peace be upon them both.
