أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الشَّعْرَانِيُّ، ثَنَا جَدِّي، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، أَنْبَأَ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَرْبُوعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ ؓ:

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ أَيُّ الْعَمَلِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ: " الْعَجُّ وَالثَّجُّ
