Saʿīd, meaning Ibn Abī ʿArūbah, was asked about the man who wants to enter the state of iḥrām at his place of prayer, and when his mount stands upright with him. Then he informed us, from Maṭar, from Qatādah, from Abū Ḥassān al-Aʿraj, from Ibn ʿAbbās: that the Prophet ﷺ entered iḥrām at Dhū al-Ḥulayfah when his mount stood upright with him at al-Baydāʾ; he entered iḥrām at noon and pronounced the talbiyah for Hajj.
