al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Bayhaqi) 8102

✧ The time at which it becomes lawful for the fasting person to break his fast

( حَدَّثَنَا ) أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ: عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ إِمْلَاءً، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْحَرَشِيُّ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنْبَأَ هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى، قَالَ:

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَلَمَّا غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ، قَالَ: " يَا فُلَانُ، انْزِلْ فَاجْدَحْ لَنَا "، قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ عَلَيْكَ نَهَارًا، قَالَ: " انْزِلْ، فَاجْدَحْ لَنَا ". فَنَزَلَ، فَجَدَحَ لَهُ، فَأَتَاهُ فَشَرِبَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ثُمَّ قَالَ بِيَدِهِ: إِذَا غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ مِنْ هَا هُنَا، وَجَاءَ اللَّيْلُ مِنْ هَا هُنَا فَقَدْ أَفْطَرَ الصَّائِمُ
